The Green Room was a 5-year project in collaboration with several community partners, including the National Theatre. The building itself was created using recycled materials. The planting scheme surrounding the building utilised recycled scaffolding planks and other leftover construction materials and incorporated edible planting used in the restaurant kitchen. A group of local corporate volunteers then maintained the planting.
