Owing to the shallow human remains at Crossbones Graveyard, no digging was allowed, so the dry stone walls, which do not require foundations, enabled us to create firm planters on sit,e which could later be moved as required. Through educational workshops led by John Holt from the London School of Dry Stone Walling, working with over 200 local volunteers over several months, raised planters and created habitats for frogs and small mammals.
